A rare Eleanore Welborn heart-shaped lace plate featuring an image of the Mark Twain riverboat at Disneyland. Welborn was one of the first suppliers that Walt Disney chose to make souvenirs for the park when it opened in 1955. Welborn specialized in ceramics that were custom made at her studio in Monterey, California. Her work for Disneyland is highly sought after by collectors. This 5.5"x5.75" diameter plate is in excellent condition and features a beautiful image of the Mark Twain with hand-painted gold trim.
