A concept painting from the Don Bluth Studios animated film Thumbelina (1994). Featuring a beautifully rendered stream with a cute little frog atop a walnut waving, the concept art was created at the studio and used during the development process. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but also as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 4.75"x8.25" overall, the concept art is in very good condition.
