An original production background from the Nelvana produced series The Care Bears (1986-1988). Featuring a prehistoric looking still life, complete with cave painting and vase of flowers, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The work is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in an episode titled "One Million CB" (1988). Measuring 10.5"x14.5" overall, with an image size of 6.75"x8.75", the background is in very good condition with wear and discoloration on the border paper. Small white speckles of paint loss on the image itself.
